What is FANDE?
It is the Federation of National Associations of Distributors of Editions, which assembles the different associations of distributors of books and periodical publications (newspapers and magazines) in Spain.
What Associations?
In Spain there are three Distributors National Associations: ANDP (National Association of Distributors of Publications), UDNE (Union of National Distributors of Editions) and ADILE (Grouping of Distributors of Books and Editions).
All these Associations of Distributors ( ANDP, UDNE, and ADILE) are federated around the leading organization in our sector, FANDE (Federatión of National Associations of Distributors of Editions). This Federation is only open to Associations; as companies may only be attached to it indirectly through these. The Federation informs all menbers of its affiliated Associations regarding matters connected with taxation, employment, social questions, etc; that could be of interest to ALL associate distributors and, as the case may be, handles subjects, questions and problems affectinf the sector as a whole.
In addition, the three Associations are linked to the Federation of Chambers of the Book (FEDECALI) by way of FANDE.
Purpose of FANDE
To assume the representation, management and defence of the professional interest of the Associations forming it before public or private individuals or authorities of all kinds, especially publishers, sales outlets, national distributors, government, and worker representative organizations.

Matters of an internal nature concerning our Federation are discussed by the Board of Directors, which holds periodic meetings and sends a copy of the respective Minutes to all our associates.
